Michael has done a range of jobs for us over the last year. Most recently he overhauled our wardrobes, part of which meant making new bespoke doors with beading and insetting some paper we’d picked up. Really tidy work, and always a reliable friendly service.

I approached Michael with 5 rooms to have flooring fitted, he gave his professional opinion and the best advice on which types of flooring he recommended. He was so helpful and always available to talk. Originally he was quite booked up but when we told him we were away on holiday he utilised that time as we figured it would tricky to work with the kids about! Can't thank him enough, it's perfect!

I’ve been in the building and construction industry for more than 40 years. I initially qualified with distinction in carpentry and joinery, and later went on to found BBP, a successful local building firm, which I ran in partnership with my brother, Jaimie, for 25 years.

Today, I focus my efforts on carpentry, maintenance and small building works, which includes kitchen and bathroom refits, plus other alterations – though I’ve now reached the point in my life where it’s time to revisit my original passion. In the very near future, you will also be able to purchase my bespoke, handcrafted joinery pieces through this site and other online channels.

I offer a free competitive estimate, and I am always on hand to advise on new and ongoing projects.
