Church Pews, Harpenden

This was a new one on me: with the consent of English Heritage, a local church in Harpenden asked us to shorten three pews, while maintaining their original construction method and appearance.

I approached Michael with 5 rooms to have flooring fitted, he gave his professional opinion and the best advice on which types of flooring he recommended. He was so helpful and always available to talk. Originally he was quite booked up but when we told him we were away on holiday he utilised that time as we figured it would tricky to work with the kids about! Can't thank him enough, it's perfect!

If you’re looking for a carpenter in Welwyn Garden City or surrounding areas, I’ve been in the building and construction industry for more than 40 years. I initially qualified with distinction in carpentry and joinery, and later went on to found BBP, a successful local building firm, which I ran in partnership with my brother, Jaimie, for 25 years.

Today, I focus my efforts on carpentry, maintenance and small building works, which includes kitchen and bathroom refits, plus other alterations – though I’ve now reached the point in my life where it’s time to revisit my original passion.
