This week I have been laying a light oak floor in a herringbone pattern. It was slow progress, but the results speak for themselves.
Boundary Wall
This boundary wall was demolished by a fallen tree during Storm Ciara. I cleared up the mess and rebuilt the wall, incorporating fence panels. The biggest problem with this project was matching the bricks, which I managed to do with a blend of secondhand bricks.
Garden Wooden Wall & Steps
We upgraded the existing retaining wall and steps, then created a wooden border for a raised flower bed that incorporated steps up to the higher section of the garden.
Patio Extension
We are extending this patio we laid a few years ago. The finished patio will feature 20mm porcelain tiles, so requires a concrete base to sit upon.
Sun Room
We removed and replaced the frame on this old pine sunroom with bespoke mahogany framing and double-glazed windows. The gable end was also replaced to match.
