Combined Toilet/Basin – A First For Me!

This was a refit of a separate bathroom and toilet area. There wasn’t a lot of space in the toilet area, so I fitted a combined toilet and basin – a first for me!

House Renovation

We have had a productive week with the floor tiled in the utility room, the new newel post and handrail fitted at the top of the stairs, and the master bedroom cupboards are well under way.

About Michael

If you’re looking for a carpenter in Welwyn Garden City or the surrounding areas, I’ve been in the building and construction industry for more than 40 years. I initially qualified with distinction in carpentry and joinery, and later went on to found BBP, a successful local building firm, which I ran in partnership with my brother, Jaimie, for 25 years.

Today, I focus my efforts on carpentry, maintenance and small building works, including kitchen and bathroom refits and other alterations. I’m now pleased to be joined by my son, James Black, who is continuing the family tradition and working alongside me on projects. Together, we combine decades of experience with a fresh approach and attention to detail.

While still providing trusted building services, I’ve also reached the point in my life where it’s time to revisit my original passion. In the very near future, you will be able to purchase my bespoke, handcrafted joinery pieces through this site and other online channels.

I approached Michael with 5 rooms to have flooring fitted, he gave his professional opinion and the best advice on which types of flooring he recommended. He was so helpful and always available to talk.
