Over the past couple of weeks I have been working on two bespoke storage units. The pair were made to meet the client’s own design, then sprayed white to finish.

External Staircase Ayot Green

With this project I constructed a bespoke dog leg external staircase, which allowed the client access to the first floor of the garage at the rear of the house.

About Michael

If you’re looking for a carpenter in Welwyn Garden City or the surrounding areas, I’ve been in the building and construction industry for more than 40 years. I initially qualified with distinction in carpentry and joinery, and later went on to found BBP, a successful local building firm, which I ran in partnership with my brother, Jaimie, for 25 years.

Today, I focus my efforts on carpentry, maintenance and small building works, including kitchen and bathroom refits and other alterations. I’m now pleased to be joined by my son, James Black, who is continuing the family tradition and working alongside me on projects. Together, we combine decades of experience with a fresh approach and attention to detail.
