External refurbishment works were carried out at a property in Aston End, focusing on the repair and replacement of damaged timber match boarding. Sections that had become rotten and decayed were carefully cut out and removed, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding structure.
New match boarding was installed to match the existing profile and alignment, maintaining a consistent and seamless appearance across the exterior. The work was completed with attention to detail to ensure the new timber blended naturally with the original façade.
Once the replacement was complete, the external timber was prepared and finished with a dark wood stain. This not only enhances the overall look of the property but also provides protection against future weathering.
Assistance was provided throughout the project by my son, James, whose help contributed to the successful and efficient completion of the works. please go to my Gallery page or view my works on the Michael Black Carpentry & Maintenance Facebook page.
